The Real Meaning of the Season!!

Each Christmas season we have a number of great signs pertaining to the holiday.  Here is my favorite sign EVER!

It is a drawing of a traditional snowman, with black hat, carrot nose, coal eyes and mouth,  What the sign says makes it my favorite:

WHAT WE LEARN FROM SNOWMEN

STAY COOL.

HONOR YOUR MAKER.

DRESS FOR THE WEATHER.

STAND TALL...YOU CAN RELAX IN THE SPRING.

WE'RE ALL A LITTLE FLAKY.

Today we have Santa in our store, taking free photos with kids and adults.  We've been doing this for a few years, with the best and kindest Santa EVER.

I just heard him say something to one of our visitors, as meaningful as the Snowman sign:

"If you mess up, I will give you a do over!  And if you are really good, you can give that do over to a friend."

Between Santa and the Snowman sign, we can really learn the real meaning of this holiday season.

More to come................

Here's My Testimonial

Some of us know that at a certain time in life brown spots begin to appear on your arms, hands, sometimes your legs.  If you have pale skin, those brown spots are really noticeable.  The drug stores sell all sorts of creams to fade them, however, let's face it, those creams don't work one bit!!

So now I am going to provide a testimony on brown spots.  I've got them...I'm not too happy about it and I'd like to wish them away.

But here is my testimony and it is really true!!  Years ago we were at the Gift Market in a showroom where a company was introducing a hand, body and foot lotion which was endorsed by Meredith Baxter.  Remember her on the t.v. show with Michael J. Fox...she played his mom.

We listened to the spiel and bought the line.  It is called Caren.  One of the other appealing aspects of Caren is that part of the sales are donated to Cancer Research.

But here's the deal:  I have been faithfully using Caren body lotion on a daily basis.  After my morning shower, I spread it on my arms and my legs.  It is my ritual and I hadn't been paying too much attention to any results from the lotion...I just knew that it felt good and the scent was not overpowering.

Recently I noticed that those awful brown spots had been fading.  What? I asked myself.  Could it really be that the Caren lotion was working and fading those spots?

I remember talking to one of Caren's spokespeople who had been a skater....professionally, I think.  He had decided to try the foot cream on his crusty old feet and he experimented by putting the cream on one foot, but not on the other.

I was skeptical about that story when he told me that the skin on the foot with the cream had softened and was showing great improvement.

So shame on me for doubting his story, cuz now I have a similiar story of my own.  Of course Caren has its 2 shelves at Sweet Tooth.  I no longer look at Caren as a pretty after-the-shower lotion.  I look on it as a product which actually does what it says.

Stay tuned for more testimonials and come try Caren lotions!!

The Jingle Bells Are Ringing!!

We can hear the Jingle Bells ringing.  It is that time of the year when the store is full of wonderful gifts and candies and the time goes by so fast we can hardly believe it when we close the door on December 24.

You might want to know what it takes to prepare for the Holiday season. In January, 2018 we began ordering Holiday items for the store.  At the January Gift Market we had the opportunity to see what companies were promising for the 4th quarter.  By June Gift Market, a great deal of those items were already committed.

We tell our customers that if the item or the candy is seasonal, it is best to buy it when you see it.  I have already had the experience of attempting to re-ordering some Holiday merchandise in August and found it was sold out.  This is definitely the case for food items.  No manufacturer wants to have left over holiday food items and no retailer wants that problem either.

This year we have a number of new things to offer.  For us, after 26 years, that is really a BIG DEAL.  Patience Brewster ornaments are back and we are the only Tulsa store carrying them.  Our new artisan hand-crafted silver and gold jewelry is also a wonderful new line for us and once again, we are the only store to have it.  EarthGrace is the name and beauty is the game!!  We are already ordering a second delivery for the 2nd week of December.

When new candy becomes available, we are over the moon with excitement.  Our Awesome Fudge, our Pumpkin shaped Truffles (already sold out), our cups filled with hot chocolate mix and marshmellows are just a few of the delightful new food items for our store.

Now what does it take to get all this going?  Keep marching and don't look back.  Realize that there will be little time for recreational activities, dinners out, family get togethers, etc.  However, we still love this work.

Watch for the Exclusive Christmas Ornament created by the Tulsa Glassblowers Studio for Sweet Tooth. Only 25 will be available for sale, although we will carry many of the ornaments this very talented group is making as I am writing this piece.

Watch for our Open House, Photos with Santa, Christmas music with Gyan and Scott, 3 booksignings in December, Black Friday specials and so much more.

Watch this space.

Hey!! Good News!!

Here's something to brighten your day.

Spangler candy company has purchased the rights to manufacture NECCOS and those cute little Sweetheart candies we love at Valentines Day.  Now that ought to comfort those who were a little upset about NECCOS no longer available.

I don't know when the new company will begin production, but you can be certain that we will have them at Sweet Tooth.  In fact, we have some NECCOS right now....get over and get some.

Thursday evening October 11 from 5-7:30 pm we are hosting the Glasssblowers from the Tulsa Glassblowers Studio who are bringing approximately 300 glass pumpkins of all sizes and prices to sell.  Since this summer, the Glassblowers have been creating 1000 glass pumpkins and this is the final group now available.  If you can't make it to Sweet Tooth, be certain that we will have some of the pumpkins in our store through the end of October or until they sell out!!

That's good news, right?

We have also been able to re-order some of our Patience Brewster ornaments which have begun to sell out for the season.  The ornaments should be in the store very soon....check them out.

How about those people who annually wonder why they can't buy the Cinnamon Candy Corn by itself...why it has to be in an assortment instead of by itself?  Well, great news!!  This year the Cinnamon Candy Corn IS by itself and you can get it without having to have the chocolate and the regular candy corn in the assortment!!

Fudge!!  We now have Awesome Fudge in packages at Sweet Tooth....and there is Sugar Free Fudge as well.  Hey, we listen to our customers and really work hard to have what you are asking for.  We have peanut butter and chocolate, pumpkin and chocolate, as well as Sugar Free chocolate and walnut.

I don't want to over do the good news., I will save some of that news for a later blog.

Hope to see you really soon at Sweet Tooth.

NECCO,-- Closed Its Doors and Gone!!

Here's what I know about the oldest American Candy Maker, known to all for manufacturing NECCO candies and those Sweetheart Hearts we have all consumed for Valentine's Day.

NECCO, founded in 1847, is now gone.  Doors shut, 400 employees laid off and no website to check out NECCO's products.  Although there are rumors about an unknown company buying NECCO, there is no real hope that the products we have loved will return to store shelves someday.

And there is no insider information as to what happened that caused the company to close its doors.

So, a brief pause for the passing of the oldest candy company in America.

However, Black Jack, Beeman's and Clove gum are returning in November.  As Mary Engelbreit says in her Engeldark cards:

WHEN LIFE SHUTS A DOOR, OPEN IT AGAIN.  IT'S A DOOR...THAT'S HOW IT WORKS!!

Stay tuned.

Tariffs. What They Mean For You And Us.

National retail organizations are beginning to comment on the effect which President Trump's tariffs on goods coming into the U.S. will have on retail and its employees.

I have read that these tariffs, if enacted, will up the cost of goods and affect the employment of people who have retail jobs.  Naturally this is an area of concern for us as we continue to order for our store.

The products and candy which we have on order at this point were not effected by any future tariffs.  They were ordered, produced and shipped prior to the Administration's new policies on tariffs.  What we are looking for is the effect it might have on 2019 goods.

Retailers continually face the question of what to do about increasing costs both in product and in shipping costs.  These increases have to be added to the bottom line of what consumers are paying both at local stores and online, and retailers ability to hire staff.   I have written about this situation at least once before, hoping that we can all be prepared for any changes in pricing or ability to have goods arrive on time.

We will keep you posted as to these matters and what retailers will be able to do to adjust pricing as minimally as possible.

Stay tuned.

Get Ready! I Have a Few Thoughts I Want To Share

I want to say Happy Anniversary to Sweet Tooth Candy & Gift Co.

YES.  September 1, 1992 Shirley and Willie Burger and our friend Richard Borg went with Jeff and me to Sweet Tooth in The Farm Shopping Center to sign the papers purchasing Sweet Tooth.  Along with us were my parents, who seemed pretty fascinated by their daughters going into retail without any past experience in that business.

My parents aren't with me any more.  However I want to say that they never complained about our choice and always supported what we were doing.  Occasionally we had to ask for a little help and they gave it willingly and without hesitation.

Some may remember my Dad who often came to the store to chat with customers, to see what we were up to and to always buy some chocolate bars which he gave to the staff at Zarrow Point where my Mom lived for 7 years.

Eventually we bought a bench for him to sit on.  The year we opened a small shop by the Food Court in Woodland Hills, Dad could be found sitting on the bench across from our shop, watching folks walking by.  When he was ready to go home, he would sometimes forget where he had parked.  Dad always made it home, though!!

October is the month I most remember my parents and how much I do miss them.

Our daughter Sabrina has been with us every step of the way.  Even when she didn't live near, she was still the Voice of our t.v. ads, recording those CDs in New Jersey, Tennessee and at OSU.  Sabrina is the best daughter ever...o.k. I know most parents think that of their children...but my One and Only is still the most precious, wise person whom I know.

October is also the month when we really dig in and prepare for the 4th Quarter, that time of year when retailers get very busy, have lots of merchandise, plan events for their stores and look forward to the shoppers who still shop locally and value the customer service they receive in a physical store.

26 years of meeting, greeting, helping, admiring, talking to people and feeling really good about all the contacts and friends we have made over the years.  Even some folks who I actually never met in person:  Kristen at Kristofer's and her mom, Connie; Michelle and others at Kameleon; people answering questions on the phone when I called their business.  If I had stayed in the profession I started out to do, teaching English, I would have loved all my students but I would never have made all the friends I have made at Sweet Tooth.

So Happy Anniversary to all of us...those who are gone and those who are here with us now.  See you at "The Tooth" as our friend John Klein calls us.

Patience Brewster is Back! And boy, is she great!!

Patience Brewster is back!!

We are very excited to be the Exclusive Retailer in Tulsa for Patience Brewster.  We have focused on her mini-ornaments for this year and just put them out in the store yesterday.

If you don't know Patience Brewster, then you are really missing one of the most creative, eclectic, clever, colorful and just totally fun artists in the U.S.

A few years ago we were able to carry some of her pieces in our store.  They were very popular and we were simply delighted to meet Patience at the Gift Market where we chatted with her and she signed several of her drawings for me and Sabrina.

At some point around that time, Patience decided to withdraw her art pieces from stores and basically go online or in special boutiques.  We were unhappy to see her go, however situations like that have happened to us before.  Remember Mismatched Sox??  We simply loved those as well.

A few months ago I received a postcard with the most fabulous Great Dane ornament on the card, which told me that Patience Brewster was opening her art pieces to stores once again.  I jumped on the opportunity to apply for Sweet Tooth to carry her work and we got it!!

So now I am encouraging you to drop by Sweet Tooth as soon as you can to preview these pieces.  We have dogs, flamingos, skunks, porcupines, elephant, lion, Santas, fairies and so much more, but all are in limited numbers.  We had to adhere to a deadline for ordering and there is no re-ordering this year.  Once we sell out of the pieces, we will have to wait until 2019 to see what Patience offers at that time.

The ornaments are "minis" and are all priced at $25.00.

Don't miss out on Patience Brewster.  You will come to cherish her beauty and her eclectic style.

Goodbye to Kameleon. We Will Miss You!!

On Friday we received the news that Kameleon Jewelry is not going forward with their jewelry line.  Wow!!  What a surprise that was for all of us at Sweet Tooth.

Kameleon was introduced to us by one of our very best sales reps and friend, Susan Beeson in 2007.  This sterling silver line was the creation of Bob...yes, there really is a Bob in the world!!  Bob attended Gift Markets and we were able to meet him and to work for several years with Susan. Bob introduced a concept which has never been matched by any other interchangeable jewelry line.

We began to build the line and soon it became one of the strongest selling lines in our store.

If you don't know Kameleon, it is one of the best, if not the best, interchangeable jewelry.  Made of sterling silver, it has interchangeable jewel pops which fit in all the core pieces....earrings, pendants, rings and bracelets.  It is,in reality, a collectible which has grown in value over the years.

We are going to miss Kameleon.  However the Clearance Sale which we are now having for this line will be a real bonus for those who want to complete their collection or for someone who would like to partake of some of the core pieces with jewel pops...a jewelry style which will be popular for years to come.

We have settled on a 50% discount on the jewel pops and a 60% discount on the core pieces.  It is always important to go out with a BANG and we are doing just that.

Over the years, Kameleon has introduced us to many of our loyal and favorite customers, often people who we know well and have had meaningful conversations.  We are so very proud of what we have accomplished with Kameleon.  Selling this jewelry has taught all of us at Sweet Tooth a great deal about maintaining relationships with our customers, about the loyalty that develops between staff and customers, and the beauty of a jewelry line which has set the standard for many other lines.

I also want to say GOODBYE to my friends in Nova Scotia, home office of Kameleon.  I will really miss talking to Michelle, who has become my soul sister.  I wish the best to the professional staff at Kameleon and hope we meet again.

What's The Deal With Sugar Free Chocolate?

I have to tell you that Sugar Free Chocolates and Candy often get a bad rap.  I know that before we had Sweet Tooth I also thought that Sugar Free wasn't worth my time.

However, I have news for you!!  Sugar Free can be very tasty and I don't mean "after taste".  That has worked for us, as we carefully check with the manufacturer and (as the retailer)we taste the candy before we bring it into the store.

Take today, for example.  For 26 years we have been selling the Grand Truffles, double dipped, hand made from Sweet Shop.  And they are very very good.

When Sweet Shop recently introduce 4 Sugar Free truffles, I decided to give them a chance and I am happy I did.  Today we tasted Chocolate Brownie and Chocolate Cookie, Sugar Free Sweet Shop truffles.  They are yummy...smooth chocolate, beautifully presented and none of what people think of as that "after taste" of sugar free.

Now I have to tell you that eating too much Sugar Free in one sitting or even one day may have an unhappy effect on your digestive system.  We always caution the rookie Sugar Free customer to carefully introduce sugar free to his/her diet.

If we won't eat it, we don't expect anyone to eat it either!!  That is a good rule to follow.

As candy retailers, we often get that question:  How does it taste?  Is it good?

Acknowledging that everyone's taste buds are different, we can safely say that what we sell at our store is good for just the right person.  Let's face it:  I love licorice but not all our customers do.  To each his/her own, right?

So next time you are in Sweet Tooth, and we offer you a sample of sugar free chocolate, give it a try.  We just love seeing the smiles on people's faces when they try it and like it.

I Am Back ... Lots of News!!!

Greetings!!  As of July 17, we have passed our first year in our new store at 36th and Harvard.  We have noted that some of our previous customers haven't yet found us.  Hopefully they will see us as they pass by the traffic light at 36th and Harvard, or look on Facebook or Instagram.  In any case, if you can pass the word to friends that Sweet Tooth is still here and bustling, please do.

Currently we are working on the calendar for all our Fall events.  Beginning in September, we will have a Kameleon Trunk Show.  October we are having a Trollbeads Artisan Event, the release of Eva Unterman's Fall Scarf Collection and a Glass Pumpkin sale in cooperation with the Tulsa Glassblowing Studio (we now carry their pieces in the store).

November brings our annual Holiday Party on November 11, a Trollbeads Uniques event, and of course, a visit from Santa....we have a lot of fun with him and his new throne.  In addition, there will be some Black Friday events and we will begin to be open on Sunday afternoons.

December is always a hopping time of year.  We will have another Kameleon Trunk show, a book signing with Teresa Miller (bring your pets!!), Christmas Caroling with our flute and accordion friends and lots more.

In between all these scheduled events, there is bound to be more to do at Sweet Tooth.  Our new space has offered us the opportunity to bring new candy, chocolate, jewelry and gift items into the store.  We have really bumped up our Made in Oklahoma section and we will have our Fall Tunics and Leggings at the end of September.  We are mid-town's location for ordering Cookiedoodle cookies and cake pops.

The Fall always brings the latest new collections from all our Gift Section....so new, new everywhere. We are announcing the return of Patience Brewster art and ornaments in the store as well.

We are continuing to sign up customers for our Store Loyalty Cards which definitely come in handy during the holiday season.  Filled cards are worth $10 off on regularly priced items.  Watch also for our specialized weekly emails featuring Kameleon, Trollbeads and Obsidian jewelry....also mentioning our Ionic Designs from Julie who lives in Tulsa.

We are always available to answer questions, check on future shipments and just get to know you.  Hope to see you soon at Sweet Tooth.

It's Time To Protect Chocolate Sales

Here's a bit of new information for you from a recent study by a reputable group of companies on the subject of Withdrawing From NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) which the U.S. has with Mexico and Canada.

If the US withdraws from this agreement, 3 areas which will be affected are tariff increases, reduced consumer spending and lost jobs, amounting to the loss of billions of dollars and displaced lives.

As a retail store, we are concerned about the results of this withdrawal.  US retail carries $182 billion worth of products from NAFTA partners.  If there is withdrawal from the agreement, there will be a loss of consumer purchasing power, which will reduce the bottom line of retail sales.

It is projected that 128,000 people will lose their retail jobs.  Not good, huh?

Here's a great example.  The US consumes 20% ($18 billion) of the chocolate eaten in the world annually.  Wow!!  US retailers import $2 billion of this candy from Mexico and Canada.  Without NAFTA, 10% of chocolate consumed in the US would be affected by an additional $261 million in tariffs annually.

Asparagus sales will also be affected.....just saying.

Local retailers already have a great deal to contend with.  The economy, the internet and now possibly the withdrawal from NAFTA and what will result from that.

Let's protect our chocolate sales and the jobs of the people who sell yummy chocolate!!

A Really BIG DEAL

After 25 years of retail life, we are launching an event which is really a "BIG DEAL" for Sweet Tooth.

Trollbeads, the international jewelry bead company which is one of the top jewelry companies in the world, has asked us to hold an Artisan Event in our store.  We have been the only Trollbeads retailer in Oklahoma for many years.  This invitation puts us over the top in the world of jewelry artists and we are wanting you to participate in this event.

Here's what will happen.  On October 5 & 6, Trollbeads, which has a U.S. headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey and a home office in Denmark, will send a talented jewelry artist to our store.  She (or he) will sit with our customers and create a truly one of a kind glass bead for that customer.  Our customers can ask for whatever colors and designs the artist can create on the spot and the customer can take home that special bead.

We understand that it takes about 40 minutes for the jewelry artist to create a bead, therefore we will need to make appointments for those who want to participate in this special creative endeavor.  As we work on the details of this event, we will post information on our Facebook page and on our Trollbeads email newsletter.

We are very excited (and flattered) about this opportunity.  We have worked diligently to promote Trollbeads, a beautiful and very unique line of bead jewelry.  Our staff has reached out to many customers and worked closely with them to put together gorgeous bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings.  Each piece is a singular one, reflecting the interests, the special colors, the themes which our customers want to wear.

Trollbeads is no "cookie cutter" line.  Each piece is made by a jewelry artist and the family which began Trollbeads 35+ years ago remains the inspiration and the professional leadership of the Trollbeads line.

Watch this space for more information.  Come see Trollbeads at our new store, 36th and Harvard.  Invest your talent and treasure in a jewelry line which will be authentically your very own.  If you are interested in being a part of this event, let us know.  We are here for you!

Shopping for a Cause

The juices are flowing at Sweet Tooth.

We are strengthening and enlarging our commitment to local and Oklahoma artists and companies and it is very exciting for us.  It feels like a new chapter for Sweet Tooth.

For a while now we have been a resource store for Oklahoma products.  We have carried hand made baskets in the shape of the state, made in Duncan, OK.  We have carried Bedre Chocolates, produced by the Chickasaw Nation, the only modern American Indian Tribe which produces wonderful chocolate.  We have joined hands with Hat & Field, a brother/sister duo producing all sorts of items, from mugs to t-shirts to t-towels and more.

We have loved the jams from Prairie Gypsies in OKC and the Snackzel savory pretzels from Edmond.  More recently we have been a retailer for Bobbie Whaling's annual Tulsa ornament, featuring an icon in our city on an ornament.  Bobby has been designing these ornaments for 30 years.

Jamie Townsend's book on The Old Lady on Brady provides anecdotes, photos and a history of this wonderful theatre.  And of course, you can usually find a copy of the recent Ree Drummond cookbook on our shelves.

We added Eva Unterman's one of a kind knitted scarves and Julie Buchheim's silver and bead jewelry.

Last week we put together a partnership with the Tulsa Glassblower's Studio to sell their glass art.

Many of these items have in common a CAUSE.  That means that some of our artists donate the proceeds from their work to worthy causes.  As a retailer of their products we are proud to be a location where "cause" means making the world a better place for all of us.

Very soon we hope to join with The Tulsa Garden Club to present their T-Town Rose Tea...black loose-leaf tea blended with rose in a tin illustrated with the "Oklahoma Rose".

Won't you join Sweet Tooth by SHOPPING FOR A CAUSE?  When you need a gift or want to treat yourself to something very special and very local, come by our store to browse local and see what might get your juices flowing too!!

What is trending this year?  Let's talk.

Returning from the Gift Market, I can report that INSPIRATION is definitely on the rise.   Everything from jewelry to t-shirts to signage, there are words of wisdom, inspirational thoughts, clever quips and more which are meant to raise us up and put hope and a smile on our faces.

This is really nothing new.  Every few years we see INSPIRATION return as a theme for the year.  And this year, with all the politics, division, etc. etc. going on around us, there is no doubt that we need some positive thoughts and a means for making our journey through life a bit happier.

We also saw once again HOME as the center for where we spend our most important hours, with our most important people.  Along with HOME is everything associated with FOOD..accesories for the kitchen, new cookbooks and ways of cooking food, new super foods, new recipes and even a subscription for a box to be left on your front door with all the ingredients for a yummy dinner.

Apparel is popping up in every gift store.  We are done with collectibles (who has the space for more figurines??).  But there is always space in the closet or dresser for new clothing.  Hey, I have even heard of subscription services for "renting" outfits which you can either buy or return after wearing them.

In the gourmet food section, we are seeing a great deal more experimentation with ingredients never to be found in chocolate.  I have saved an article about rose chocolate...more about that in another post.  And to quiet our guilty consciences, more and more goodies are being packaged in 100 calorie packages so that we believe we aren't over eating those delicious snack foods.  Americans are known to be "snackers" and why not make us all feel better about that!!

The Pantone color this year is a variety of purples and that is right down Sweet Tooth's alley.  We have always associated ourselves with that color and even the walls in our new store are a purplish color, our take out bags are purple and some of our favorite jewelry is purple.  This month's birthstone is amethyst and we are showing all the wonderful jewelpops from Kameleon jewelry in that wonderful purple color.

Hey, Valentine's Day is right around the corner.  And Valentine's Day is always a high point of February.  We've got INSPIRATION, FOOD, PURPLE JEWELRY, NEW SCARF VESTS, NEW EVA'S SCARVES , PURPLE ICING ON OUR VALENTINE COOKIES...what more can our sweethearts ask for?  See you soon. Watch this space.

Happy New Year! Starting Over Again.

Here I am on January 13, 2018 and it has been a good little while since my last post in November.

Happy New Year!!  By now you may have caught up with us in our new location, 36th and Harvard, in between Toni's Flowers and Ed Beshara's.  It really feels like after 25 years we have come to rest in a very Happy Place.

September 1, 1992...that was the day we signed the papers to own Sweet Tooth, which was in The Farm Shopping Center.  With us that day was my sister and her husband (our partners at the time), my Mom and Dad and our friend and attorney Richard.  We owned a Gift Shop, a Candy Shop, a retail store and we knew absolutely nothing about retail.

What an adventure.  Mom and Dad are gone and we no longer have partners.  However we are once again starting over in a new space, with some new customers and new merchandise and it feels just right.

At this time of the year, we normally attend the Dallas Market.  Yes, we are going there again in a few days.  And it always feels just right at the Market, since we have wandered those halls for over 25 years.  We know where all the bathrooms are, where our special showrooms are from which we have ordered over the years, even some of the sales reps whose faces are so familiar and welcoming.

Every January we start again.  We look for new merchandise, something special and unique which we can bring to our customers and the trip is like a cross between Candy Land and Monopoly.  Getting to Dallas is a bit tiring, but once inside the Dallas Market, we sigh and  the fun begins.  Sometimes we hit it big...just the right merchandise which distinguishes us from other online and brick and mortar stores.

So watch this space to hear about the latest and the greatest at Sweet Tooth.  Visit us, if you haven't and let us know what impresses you and what you'd like to see in our store.

By chance we picked the Pantone color for 2018...a version of purple for our walls, which is one of the compliments we get from folks over and over.  Ah well, purple has been a favorite at Sweet Tooth, vibrant, cheerful and looks good on just about everyone and everything.

Our staff, Doris, Lisa, Brianna, Julie and Virginia (occasionally Alyssa and every Saturday, Sabrina) are the basis for all the good stuff that happens in our store.  We are fortunate to have a team who care and who work well together.  Sometimes from my new, tiny office I hear their laughter and it warms my heart to know they are "taking care of business" and having fun.

See you at our Happy Place.
